Williams purchased plywood game cabinets constructed and painted by Churchhill Cabinets. We saw custom, reusable wooden crates filled with scores of backboxes ready for final assembly.

In the cabinet assembly section, we watched installers add rails, doors, ball shooters, and other cabinet parts to empty cabinets.

At a nearby work table, a worker applied Taxi labels to the plastic game topper, which evoked the illuminated signs atop older taxicabs. A simple wooden jig held the plastic topper steady at a convenient angle. The completed toppers were stacked while they awaited installation over a lightbar on top of the game backboxes.

Our next stop was the testing section.
